Break free from the pain
MER, short for Myofascial Energetic Release, is a body work technique which is created by Satyarthi Peloquin. It focuses on pain relieve, by releasing the natural ability of the body to rebalance itself. It goes into the art of the body via supported stretching, unraveling of connective tissue by deep, sensitive touch and other techniques working through the fascia of the body.
Release the body’s natural self-healing ability
MER technique is a unique combination of manipulations of soft and deep tissue, the release of joints, energy work, breathing, unraveling of myofascial muscles and body awareness training. This work frees up the person’s physical and emotional patterns, activates his or her natural capacity for self-healing and thus alleviates pain.
In comparison to De-armouring, MER is a softer approach where we the aim is not to go into emotional (trauma-)releases, yet it still may occur. A session takes two hours, to allow the tissue to soften and unwind.
